Did you know that as many as 5,000 students in Boulder Valley and over 7,000 students in St. Vrain Valley public schools have difficulty affording the

$60 -$100 that it takes to start school with basic school supplies?

Crayons to Calculators - a community-wide school supply drive- is working hard to guarantee that Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley public school students have the school supplies they need for a successful start.

In 2007, with the support of the Boulder Rotary Foundation, Crayons to Calculators provided 3,641 backpacks of supplies to students in Boulder Valley public schools. Thanks to recent support from Western Disposal Services, we will begin providing backpacks to select, high-need, public schools in the St. Vrain Valley School District in 2008.

HOORAY!! In 2008, we provided over 4,800 filled backpacks to students in 92 schools in Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley public schools!!!!!!

You can still help!! There are more students that need a backpack.

• Join our Corporate Challenge  Join TODAY! The Corporate Challenge will begin in July of 2009. It is a fun and simple way to get involved. There is also a great party at Corporate Express in September of 2009.
