Join the Community Challenge (formerly called the Corporate Challenge).
Where do I drop off filled backpacks?

Is this a nonprofit organization?
Crayons to Calculators is sponsored by five local nonprofits. But since it is a collaboration—and not a stand alone organization—it is not a nonprofit. The collaboration holds Impact on Education to be its fiduciary, or agent of a principal, which serves as a go-to for tax and financial purposes.
What nonprofits are involved?
Our collaborative partners are Foothills United Way, I Have A Dream Foundation of Boulder County, Impact on Education, Sister Carmen Community Center, and Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley. Our beneficiaries are St. Vrain Valley School District and the Boulder Valley School District.
Who are your primary sponsors?
Western Disposal Services, Staples, Longmont Times-Call, and the Daily Camera.
I just want to send a check. Can I do that?
Yes, and we will send you a tax deductible receipt. Your financial contribution allows us to purchase supplies at “cost” from Staples. Please send your contribution to Crayons to Calculators – 728 Front Street, Suite A, Louisville, CO 80027.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Absolutely, however, since Crayons to Calculators is not a 501c(3) organization, you will receive a tax receipt from Impact on Education, our fiduciary.
