Is this a nonprofit organization?
Crayons to Calculators is sponsored by five local nonprofits. But since it is a collaboration—and not a stand alone organization—it is not it’s own nonprofit. The collaboration holds Impact on Education to be its fiduciary, or agent of a principal, which serves as a go-to for tax and financial purposes. All donations are tax-deductible, tax receipts will be issued by Impact on Education.
What nonprofits are involved?
Our collaborative partners are Foothills United Way, I Have A Dream Foundation of Boulder County, Impact on Education, Sister Carmen Community Center, and Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley. Our beneficiaries are students of the St. Vrain Valley School District and the Boulder Valley School District.
Who is your primary sponsor?
Western Disposal Services.
I just want to send a check. Can I do that?
Yes, and we will send you a tax deduction receipt. Your financial contribution allows us to purchase supplies “at-cost” direct from school supplies producers. Please send your contribution to Crayons to Calculators – 721 Front Street, Suite A, Louisville, CO 80027.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Absolutely, however, since Crayons to Calculators is not a 501(c)(3) organization, you will receive a tax receipt from Impact on Education, our fiduciary.
