In a time in which many businesses are moving away from large-scale sponsorship of programs, Western Disposal has continued its commitment to our community at large by once again donating $125,000 to Crayons to Calculators.

Crayons to Calculators still taking supplies, donations to aid Boulder Valley, St. Vrain students Broomfield Enterprise, Enterprise staff
Crayons to Calculators, a collaborative annual school supply drive, this year will provide more than 8,000 backpacks to students in Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley school districts. There are six Boulder Valley schools in Broomfield. The organization is still accepting supply donations through Aug. 24, as well as monetary gifts, which can be made online….

Boulder Valley’s Impact on Education recently received a $10,000 grant from the Staples Foundation, a private foundation created by Staples Inc.The grant will go to support Crayons to Calculators, an annual school supply drive for 9,000 low-income students in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley school districts.To date, the Staples Foundation has awarded $30,000 to Impact on Education….
