Is there any chance that StandUp for Kids, which works with street and at-risk kids, could receive some of your backpacks filled with school supplies? We rely on donations, as our budget is so tiny.
We serve kids from 12-20 who are at risk because they’re living on the streets, sofa surfing, or living with their heads down at home, lacking in basic attention and care from parents. We do scrounge used backpacks and materials at the end of the school year in local high schools and at CU, but we could certainly use more.
This is a wonderful thing you are doing, and we understand if you are unable to support our kids.

I am a single mother and was wondering how, shere and when I could pick up a backpack for my child.
I live in Boulder, CO and my sone goes to Crestview Elementary.
contact your school administration and they’ll be happy to take care of you!
At this point, our services extend to Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley students. If the students you are supporting are attending schools within these districts, they contact their school administrators and schools will take good & dignified care of them.
